Morphhair 4 is designed for medium-length-haircuts. If you know Morphhair
1,2 and 3 you will notice, that the texture-maps
have been improved. This time it`s two-layers-hair. Texture, bump
and transparency-maps can be applied to each layer sepa-
rately. Five .pp2-files are in this volume for that reason. There
are eight textures (4 pairs for each hair-colour). You might
think, that they look the same, but the textures are slightly shifted
and scaled in order to achieve a more realistic result.
Smoothed rendering is highly recommended. Otherwise the surface
looks horrible. The 45 morph-targets contain a few fixed
styles. Set these dials to 1.000 to get the best results. As mentioned
before Morphhair 4 is designed for medium- and short
hair, but a few longer styles can be made as well. Have a look at
the gallery.jpg and see a few examples.
Again the installation of Morphhair 4 is quite easy:
1.: Copy the files as shown in the directory-path into
your Poser-directory after unpacking.
2.: Call up any prop in Poser and apply the "mh4bump.jpg"
file
Poser will create "mh4bump.bum"
.
3.: Call up one of the Morphhair 4 (+colour) - files
in your "props/Morphhair/"-directory and add it to a P4 female figure
I am not shure, if Morphhair 4 is working on
a Mac. If it crashes on a Macintosh the links to the texture-files have
to be deleted in a text-editor first. You will have
to apply the textures manually then. The allocation is quite simple
and can be done by the texture-names. Layer 1 is for
the lower, layer 2 for the upper part.
The files can be used for any non-commercial purpose.
